Why Ontario?

One of the most populous provinces in the country, Ontario is where you’ll find approximately 1 fourth of the total population residing. This place is home to some of the coolest cities like Ottawa, and the capital city Toronto. The business and financial center of Canada, it is in many ways the heart of everything that is political, economic, and social there. A cosmopolitan province, it attracts immigrants from all over the world, and already has people belonging to around 200 countries, speaking at least 125 languages in total, living there. The easiest way of immigrating has been found to be the Canada Express Entry system. Let’s look a little more into it.

What is Express Entry Ontario?

OINP is a program that has been designed to give well experienced and highly skilled foreign nationals, who also intend to work and live permanently in Ontario, a fair opportunity to apply for a Canadian PR. It was known as Opportunities Ontario Provincial Nominee Program, but since some time, we know it as the OINP.

Here are the two ways that a potential immigrant could choose from, in order to live and work in Ontario, permanently

One way would be that the applicant contacts Immigration Ontario, and try to apply for the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program. If they do receive a nomination from the province, they would have to then create an Express Entry profile for themselves, and upload all their nomination-related credentials to it.
Another way, and the easier of the two, is for people interested in immigrating to the province, to create an Express Entry profile. They should register their interest in settling in Ontario, within the system.Through Express Entry, the OPNP can get in touch with the applicant, send them a formal invitation to send their application to the province’s immigration program. In case they do receive a nomination, a score of 600 points is credited to their CRS, that is Comprehensive Ranking System. Such a score increases the likelihood of the applicant to receive an ITA or Invitation to Apply during the next draw of Express Entry, by a large measure
