• This visa is one that you can apply for indefinitely.

Labour Agreement Stream

Applying under this stream may be possible if your Australian employer wishes to sponsor you and has a work agreement with the Department of Home Affairs.

Eligibility Criteria For The Applicant

Eligibility for this visa in any stream requires you to fulfil specific requirements, which include:

• Have worked in the chosen field for at least two years.
• Hold a nomination that has been authorised by a sponsor.
• Possess fulfilled the necessary qualifications and/or abilities evaluation.
• Possess an authentic proof of English language ability meeting the required minimum language requirements.

• Possess a normal business sponsorship
• The sponsorship fee is AUD420.

After it is approved, the sponsorship will be in effect for five years.

You may designate your worker for a position in one of the skilled occupations listed as eligible, such as the STSOL or MLTSSL, but you must first:

• For each occupation, pay a salary that is at least equal to the Temporary Skilled Migration Income Threshold (TSMIT).
• Indicate in the nomination the position’s location and duration.
• Provide proof of labour market testing if necessary.

The medium-term stream requires 5.0 bands or equivalent overall with no less than 5.0 in each module, while the short-term stream requires five bands or similar overall with no less than 4.5 in each module.
