NIT Australia successfully run the ACS (Australian Computer Society) Professional Year Program since 2015, with a 100% internship placement rate. NIT’s internships

One of the most significant aspects of the Professional Year Program at NIT Australia is the quality of their internship placements. NIT has internship placement agreements with over 200 organisations in Perth.

The professional year program consists of 32 weeks of face-to-face classes and 240 hours of mandatory internship. It also includes the Professional Environments (PE) component delivered by the ACS and runs in conjunction with the internship period. Classes are offered from 8 am to 4:30 pm on Saturdays. The duration period is 52 weeks (including 12 weeks of internship).

All students enrolling in the ACS Professional Year Program before 31^st Dec 2022 will receive a discount of $2,400 in their tuition fees. They will only have to pay $10,000, plus the application fee of the program.

IT Program

The ACS (IT) Professional Year is an initiative by the Department of Home Affairs. It is designed for international graduates who possess an Australian IT degree. It provides a pathway to employment in Australia.

Program Inclusions

44 week PY program in IT includes 32 weeks of classroom training and 12 weeks of industry internship.

Attending IT specific workshops and events.

Compulsory & online Professional Environments Program of 12 weeks that runs along with the internship

Eligibility Criteria

A bachelor or master degree from an Australian university with at least 2 years of credit points.
485 Graduate Visa or Bridging Visa A.
Overall score of 6 in IELTS with 5 across all bands
