Medium And Long-Term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL)

The Department of Home Affairs (DHA) has released an updated Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL) as per the reforms that were anticipated. The list became effective from 18th April 2017.

All the new visas to be lodged for the following subclasses will have to refer to this list to check the eligibility.

Subclass 189 (Skilled Independent Visa)
Subclass 190 (Skilled Nominated visa)
Subclass 489 (Skilled Regional Provisional Visa) – the ones who do not have state nomination or territory government agency nomination
Subclass 485 (Graduate Temporary Visa)
Temporary Skill Shortage Visa (Subclass 482) (maximum visa period available is 4 years)
